The sun’s not shining on tech-related funds
Gosh! The last fortnight’s performance has put my gas at a peep. The Dexterity portfolio fell 8% as Tesla, Amazon and other tech-related stocks fell hard. Here’s where my global thematic approach (instead of geographical) faces its first test since launch two years ago. Maybe markets have moved into a different sentiment; principally fear of inflation, but also optimism for post-covid travel etc. My theory - for which I don't have proof - is the themes I’ve chosen for Dexterity’s portfolio will persist relevant for the rest of my life. I’m holding. Had I more money to spare, I’d invest it.
